I purchased the Emerson Switchboard over 5 years ago and it worked great! I never had a problem, right out of the box, and would still be using it today except, lightening went through the phone line, after moving to a new home and just connecting the Switchboard.
The Setup instructions are simple and easy and tells you what else you need to make it work,ie.-Call Waiting.
I have since purchased a Surge Protector for my phone line and now, I am now ordering another Switchboard.
I prefer Emerson brand and this Switchboard is another example of their quality products.
